Born amidst the vibrant colors and rich cultural tapestry of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Tasnuva Rahman’s artistic journey began with an innate curiosity for the human spirit and the world around her. This early passion blossomed into formal study, culminating in a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the esteemed University of Dhaka. There, she honed her foundational skills, exploring various mediums and developing a disciplined approach to her craft.

Following her artistic pursuits, Tasnuva embarked on a new chapter, establishing her studio in the dynamic art landscape of northwest Houston, Texas in the suburb of Tomball. It was here that her unique vision truly flourished, drawing inspiration from both her Eastern heritage and the diverse energy of her new home. As a dedicated painter and portrait artist in Houston, Nuva has become renowned for her ability to capture not just likeness, but the very essence and emotion of her subjects, specializing in custom commissioned portraits and paintings that become treasured family heirlooms.
